Reverse Virtual Screening

Reverse Virtual Screening is a computational technique used primarily in drug discovery and development to identify potential targets for a given small molecule or compound. Unlike traditional virtual screening, which searches for molecules that interact with a known biological target (e.g., a protein), reverse virtual screening starts with a known compound and screens it against a database of possible targets (proteins, enzymes, or receptors) to identify where it may have an effect.
